While speaking on Sunday, 31 August, 2014 during a worldwide satellite broadcast to members of his church, "The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has spoken once again on the outbreak of the Ebola virus in Nigeria. He urged Nigerians to develop good health habits to avoid contracting the deadly Ebola Virus Disease, EVD.
Kumuyi also challenged Nigerians to do more for their safety and health, aside praying.
“Many people have the idea that it is only prayer that gets them well and make them whole and healthy.
“If you look at the Scriptures, you will discover that there are a number of things that contribute to our healing and health.
“These things include our habits, holiness, hope, home, happiness, hospitality and hygiene,” Kumuyi said while speaking on the topic, ‘Healing and Health for the Whole Man’.
