AUF Scholarship Program

Akpan Umoren scholarships are awarded annually in honor of our late father and grandfather, Akpan Umoren, to students and pupils from the villages that make up the Afaha clan. The main criteria for the award of the scholarships are the applicant’s excellence in academic performance, financial background, leadership and their desire to provide service to the church and the community. AUF Scholarship Areas of Focus and Expectations
This scholarship is generally available to students who have full time enrollment at any accredited institution of higher learning in Nigeria. Financial support is also available for selected students at the primary & secondary school levels. The application process typically includes the submission of a detailed application form, academic transcripts, school admission letters and other supporting documents. Students applying for financial support at the tertiary education level are also expected to write an essay of 700 to 1000 words to qualify. There is no restriction on course of study.
